Description

Herb of courage and the journey

Small and resilient, it grows among sun-scorched stones. Its balsamic scent is a symbol of strength and purification.

Olfactory Path

Dry, resinous, clean.
The smell of trails and freedom.

Curiosity

Called "sarva" in dialect, it was harvested in late summer to flavor preserves and meats. "Thyme protects the traveler's footsteps," the farmers used to say.
